Kimberlee Van Orden, MD

Dr. Kimberlee Van Orden is a dedicated neurologist specializing in vascular neurology. Following a life-long interest in the care of others, she began her medical pursuit as an undergraduate at UCLA, receiving her degree in Neuroscience. After earning her MD at an institution focused on global health, Dr. Van Orden persevered in rigorous neurology training at an inspired Tucson residency program, honing her skills in identifying, assessing, and treating a wide range of neurological conditions. Her unwavering commitment to the field led her to seek further training in vascular neurology, where she now focuses on managing a wide range of acute neurologic emergencies. Dr. Van Orden has enthusiastically returned to Tucson to serve our vibrant community as a Neurohospitalist/Vascular Neurologist at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She is especially passionate about pre-hospital neurologic and stroke care. Charged with the goal of optimizing care from the first moments of symptom onset to minimize the devastating impact of strokes and the related conditions, she will be advancing her scope of knowledge in neurointervention/endovascular neurosurgery at the Carondelet Neurological Institute in the coming years. Equally as spirited about embracing a full life as she is for medicine, Dr. Van Orden enjoys time in the company of friends and family, traveling, golfing, hiking, and spoiling her dog, Daisy.
