Angelica Granillo is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who joined Carondelet Medical Group in 2022. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Clinical Systems Leadership from the University of Arizona and a Post-Master of Science Family Nurse Practitioner certificate from Grand Canyon University. Angelica began her nursing career in 2012 and is skilled in acute care neurology, cardiology, medical-surgical and trauma specialties. As a family nurse practitioner, Angelica’s focus is to promote wellness and prevent illness, with consideration of all aspects of patient needs, to include lifestyle, family dynamics and overall healthcare goals. On her time off, she enjoys spending time with her husband, kids, extended family and friends.

When a very good Nurse Practitioner my husband and I both appreciated (a man who literally saved my husband's life in an emergency situation) moved to another state, he recommended Nurse Practitioner Granillo. She has always been friendly, professional and concerned. She is knowledgeable and informed. She makes me feel comfortable about asking questions regarding concerns I have, and asks follow-up questions of me. I do not feel rushed, and the time she has spent with me was more than adequate. There was need for a follow-up with another doctor, and she (likely office staff) immediately took care of it, as did the staff of the other office that was contacted. Impressive! I feel very fortunate that I (and my husband) "discovered" NP Granillo!

Love everyone there, from Tracy at the front to everyone you walk past. It feels really safe and happy there and I never had to come into contact with any men that day which was a huge plus for me. Angelica is incredible with Michelle, she listens to exactly what she is saying and doesn't dismiss her concerns (Michelle's) because she was diagnosed as disabled at birth! ?? She has been so incredible and we were devastated that Michelle lost her PCP of 20+ years and had to find someone new. God was looking over her when she was lead to Angelica. Angelica Granillo is phenomenal. She listened to my heart and called for EKG. She told me I needed to follow up with cardiologist. I told her I would wait. After looking at my EKG she reviewed results with cardiologist and sent me right to the hospital. When I got there I was in AFib with heart rate of 184. I was told I was in danger of having a stroke. I went to my appointment to have my blood pressure checked, Angelica went far and above that. She was the kindest, most thorough medical professional I have ever dealt with.

Ms. Granillo talked one-to-one to me and very carefully outlined suggestions, contrary options, and with me formulated an action plan, involving in the short term some ultra-sounds; longer-term, some recommended screens given that I have not had such tests in some years. Already that plan is bearing fruit.

I am very confident of Angelica's skills. She demonstrates the wisdom of a seasoned Nurse who has been 'in the thick of it' when things get tough. At the end of the day, it is the Nurse who gets you through a bad spot, the MD makes observations and leaves it to the Nurse to implement the plan and resolve the issues. Working with Angelica cuts the middle man out of the picture. She Decides and she Does what is needed.
